The B.A.M.A. is suitable for men and women, beginners and existing martial artists alike. The use of one-to-one tuition and small class sizes maximises your growth and accelerates your abilities. Come and train in a safe, friendly environment lead by dedicated instructors of The Way.
Such dedicated teachers, the small class sizes mean that you learn so much each week and any bad habits are ironed out straight away. Since joining my physical skill has grown quicker than I could have imagined and my mental well being is better than ever. I have such a positive outlook on life in thanks I believe to the massively positive environment at the dojo. Everyone is really nice and up beat, there is no ego there. After a stressful day at work the lessons really help you feel good and enjoy life. Domo

I've done martial arts as a child and self taught some for a while, and i always felt the outsider, but since joining i've found somewhere i belong, thanks to the great attitudes of the instructors and other students, the comaraderie is always positive and supportive, no-one is ever left behind in training as we each help one another along if we struggle with a particular activity. your instructor is not just there for you for the hour a week you train, if you have anything you wish to ask your instructor, they are always at the end of the phone, there is no other school like it, it's above and beyond that of any i have ever attended.

I trained with this organisation for a bit over a year. It has some good teachers (some bad), and you will learn karate with them. But they are insistent that their way is the only way and throw out students who train in other martial arts insisting that their is no need. Obviously this is wrong - people should try as many schools and arts as they wish and see what is best. Also, there is a lot of cult-like behaviour in the reverence you are expected to give to the head of the organization, the payment for extra seminars and tapes, the odd philosophy side. Mainly, new people should just be very wary of the teaching that they are following some mystical and superior way. The higher you get in it, the more you come up against this sort of indoctrination. If it's karate you're after, have a look round and try a few differnet schools first.

Having only been with the school a mere 3-4 months you think there might not be alot to say. You would be WRONG! The moment you step through the door a new way of exploring your bodies mental and physical capabilities is open to you. With the aid of dedicated instructors in a one to one training enviroment you will discover abilities and attributes you never knew you had or even thought possible. The instructors and students are very welcoming, encouraging your development through new and creative ways while maintaining a high standard of teaching. This all builds on yours and your fellow students knowledge and understanding of martial arts, while at the same time introducing you to a range of weapon disciplines to help find one to suit you perfectly.

After joining this school 6 months ago i would recommend that anyone interested in Martial Arts and Zen Philosophy helping develop the mind and body try the Bushido Academy Of Martial Arts. My only regret is not trying this sooner. Not only do the one to one tuitions ensure you get the maximum growth from each session but the small group sessions are an enjoyable way of learning self defense and meeting new people. The dedicated instructors give their all in helping you to develop yourself in a safe and friendly environment, whatever style or weapon you decide to try. You wont believe how great you'll feel after each visit, and you certainly wont forget the excitement on your instructors face as they see you developing.

I strongly recommend this school to anyone with any interest in martial arts and will help you to develop both your body and mind. The use of one to one tuition and small classes means the lessons are more focused on your growth and are highly enjoyable. Everyone is always friendly and welcoming and the styles taught are kept to the highest standards by committed instructors.
