We have taken our VW Golf to these guys on several occassions and received outstanding service. I work for the NHS and need the car for my job. As well as getting discount for NHS staff they provide me with a courtesy car, something the dealer wouldnt give me without 2 weeks notice! There's no jargon just honest advice and NO feeling of being ripped off! I really can't fault Mike and the guys they really do go that extra mile! I took my car to MGC Servicing in May this year, after it failed it's MOT due to the passenger headlight beam being too high. The garage which did the MOT had tried to fix it, but told me it would most likely require a new headlight casing. As I work up the road from MGC I popped in their just after lunch before my re-test, and asked their opinion. They took the car in for 5 minutes and it was fixed for free. In addition to this they showed me how easy it was to adjust the headlight beam. As a women I tend to get patronised by garage dealerships, so it was a refreshing change to be spoken to like an intellectual human being and on a one-to-one basis. So even though I live 37 miles away I'll definitely be taking my car to MGC Servicing in the future.

I have been a customer at MGC for many years. Mike and his crew provide the best service at very fair prices and always go that little bit further to make things happen. You get booked in asap mostly same or next day and whether the job is big or small you feel like you're an important customer. Excuse the pun but MGC have on more than one occassion gone the extra mile for me. Little touches that make a massive difference to me but they do as an added extra free of charge to make you feel like a valued customer. Apart from recognising who you are when you call. I have been using MGC's services for my slightly elderly 206cc for just over two years and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Friendly, welcoming, straightforward and helpful. I also appreciate that all work and parts are comprehensively detailed on my invoice. Five stars, highly reccommended.

My Local Renault dealer is 10 minutes from my house yet I choose to make a 2 hour drive to MGC for my car servicing. "nuff said" Having an obscure vehicle (Renault Avantime) MGC have taken the time to understand the in's and out's of a vehicle they'll rarely see, unlike my main dealer. Today saw 2 staff members out in cars and on the phone searching for a dashboard backlight bulb. Found, fitted and sent on my way a very happy man. I'll be back... regularly.

Friendly staff and prices. Always manage to work around YOUR schedule. work done includes new clutch, service, MOT, replacement bulbs and advice on how to deal with previous shoddy workmanship for other garage. would and have recommended them.

I have used MGC for nearly 10 years now. I run 2 Alfa Romeos and have them both serviced/repaired by MGC. They offer good value, very clear description of problem/solution and professional approach to customer service. I am very impressed with the management and staff at MGC and can highly recommend them.

Mike and his team did a great job. They managed to fit me in at an hours notice and fixed in less than 5 mins a problem with the windcreen washers that the BMW dealer (opposite) had quoted me Â£300! They were extremely friendly and professional and I will now use them for all my servicing. Thanks Mike

After being given bad service by both a main dealer under their so called 'Extended Warranty Plan' and another local garage for my Citroen what a pleasant surprise to finally receive good and reliable service from a great team! My car was immediately looked at and diagnosed and booked in. The day of the repair Mike offered me the use of a curtesy car and I was notified promptly when my car was ready. I left feeling confident that my car was now running smoothly, all issues had been resolved and fixed but most importantly I felt that finally I had found a garage I could trust. A real pleasure to deal with. I don't mind that they are not local to me as I will certainly be using them again!

How many garages do you know that will go above and beyond to fix your car faster than expected and for significantly less money?! I have used MGC several times now and not once have they let me down. The best time was when I rang them when my partner's clio engine was miss-firing at 4pm on a Friday afternoon and her working over the weekend...Mike diagnosed the problem over the phone, ordered the part and by the time I got to the garage at 4.30pm, it was there and ready to be fitted, which they did straight away! They also looked at a problem with my car while we waited! I can't fault them at all! I wish I had found this garage ages ago - It would have saved me so much time and hassle with rip-off Renault dealers! Just remember to bring chocolate/ doughnuts for the lads!

I had arrived in Nottingham during rush hour, having travelled up from Gloucester to attend a day course. My clutch failed & I couldn't go anywhere. The recovery truck took me to MGC. They moved non-urgent jobs around so that they could have my car ready the same day, which I wasn't expecting. It was ready by 4pm! They also took me to the course for free! They were polite, helpful and extremely efficient. I would definitely recommend them! Thank you MGC!

Whilst Driving my Alfa today, lost all power and the dash light up like Blackpool in November. Found these on my iphone (life saver) and they got me to come straight down. Problem was a Lambda Sensor ??? They had the part in stock and got me on my way to collect the kids in 40 minutes. Who said you can't get better than a quick fit fitter ? Will come back for sure. Legendary Customer Service does exist - just visit MGC. They ended 3 months of absolute frustration trying to find someone (amongst plenty of disinterest) to resolve a starting problem on my Renault Espace diesel. It took them just 10 minutes. These people actually seemed to care quite passionately about my problem and knew what they were doing - a rare breed in my experience. Well worth the 50 mile drive I made to go there.

Serviced my Renault Megane with professional, friendly and finally, know what they are talking about lads. Above all, the cost is certainly alot cheaper than the main dealer who know's jack all about Cars. Why aren't all garages like this ? Took them my Renault Laguna for a Service even though it's still in warranty. They used genuine parts and did the same service as the main agent but at a fraction of the price. Big glass buildings arent worth the price difference, I'll be coming back and letting all my friends know to give them a try. Thanks

Took my Renault Laguna to them with an engine light on as Main agent couldn't fit me in for 4 days, they saw me within an hour. Problem turned out to be a Lambda sensor, which they got and fitted for me in less than two hours. They also gave ma a lift home and collected me for FREE!!! Booked my coming service with them and suggest you give them a ring to as they are £93.40 cheaper than the dealer. Great service, keep it up.

My Alfa broke down, three days before going away on holiday. Main dealer couldn't fit me in for over a week, which was no help at all. Found this garage on the net, they got me in the next day and fixed the problem in a little over an hour. Very knowledgeable, fast and friendly service. Going to use them for servicing from now on. Also they are so much cheaper than the main dealer prices. Worth a call.....

My Alfa 147 was just out of warranty and due its 36K service. The menu price of the service at the main dealer (£400) was keeping me awake at night, so I decided to try these guys after receiving a mailshot. Glad I did. Run by some ex-mail dealer people, and only going since Feb 2006, they were very friendly and knowledgeable and bent over backwards to help -- even running me into Nottingham after I'd dropped off. Look beyong the rather small and low-rent premises and you should be laughing -- especially with labour rates half the main dealer.

Had a major problem with my brakes on my Alfa Romeo. Main dealer couldn't see me for 8 days. These guys managed to get me in same day, fixed the problem and was £412 cheaper. Will get my business from now and will tell everyone I know about the great service.
