A warm welcome awaits you at this 300-seater restaurant. Situated in the former Grand Theatre, the vaulted ceiling remains, providing a light and spacious atmosphere where large parties, corporate events and family celebrations can be easily catered for. Offering a choice of 80 dishes, this truly is an introduction to Chinese cuisine on a grand scale. You may opt to start your meal with a range of sushi, Chinese hors d’oeuvres or the classic aromatic duck with pancakes. Main dishes include meats, seafood and vegetarian options with appropriate accompaniments. If you are still hungry a choice of ice cream, homemade desserts or the chocolate fountain may entice you. A great dining experience, affordable and fun for all the family.
It could of been food poisoning from your own cooking before you went to the restaurant to eat. A lot of food poisoning cases mostly comes from home cooking it takes up to 24 hrs before it subsides into the body. If you did have food poisoning from the restaurant then alot of people were to fall ill. That would of been a big case, 'hence ' everyone is eating the same dishes from the buffet as you are. they too should have fallen ill. Doctors can't prove what you have eaten but they can tell you if you have had food poisoning. hope this helps you have a better understanding.
One of the worst chinese restaurants i have ever been too! i know you don't expect alot when it is this cheap but you would expect a bit better quality. Very Western version on chinese food, tasted pre heated and i will not be going there again. If you are looking for good quality real chinese head over to the mandarin behind the nottingham ice arena!!
everything tasted like it had been pre-heated, did not enjoy it at all, and on top of that.....later on that night i had terrible stomach pains, went to the doctors the next day to get a check up and few days later thay phoned me to tell me i had food poisoning. NEVER AGAIN.
This is by far the best all you can eat Chinese Buffet restuarant I have been to in Nottingham. The food is delicious, and not swimming in grease! The atmosphere is pleasant - unlike Big Wok which I find more like a school canteen, or Flaming Dragon which is almost to dark and plays some unusual Chinese versions of pop songs. It is a few pounds more than both of these but well worth it in my estimation.
Try a selection of Malaysian,Thai,Chinese and Japanese food at the tasty buffet. Or sample the noodle and sushi bar or Teppanyaki grill at the grand evening buffet.
