• Probably the best salon ever?

  I've been a nail biter for years and my wife persuaded me to go to Touch and let them help me grow my nails (as a bloke you can image how i was enthralled by this idea). I was amazed, not only did Linda sort my nails out in a way that made me feel ok about it, but i really started enjoying my visits there because of the lively atmosphere. Now I've grown my nails back, I don't have to go there any more, so maybe i'll bite them off and start over.... Thanks everyone at Touch

• WOW

  I had my hair and colour done by Sid, was a complete change but everyone said it made me look younger, and I must say it worked and was a style I could recreate due to Sids explanation, the price was a treat kind of price but I will be back as a few quid more is worth the perfection.

• Hair

  I had my hair cut and coloured by Sid - going from blonde to brunette. Since having it done, many people have remarked on how good both the colour and cut are. I am very pleased with both and am really glad I decided to change hairdressers. Sid is a really nice guy and I will definately be going back.

• Manicure

  I had a french manicure on the 15th Nov, prior to my daughters christening. The nail technician was polite and my nails were very nice. I will continue to go to Touch for hair and beayty, thanks x

• Hair dressing

  I received a voucher for my birthday, took the kids to the creche and thouroughly enjoyed my haircut at Touch. The stylist took time to talk to me about my wishes and was able to make recommendations. She offered me a cappucino. The atmosphere was great too and it was a joy to be there for an hour or so. I was able to purchase some of the products the stylist applied to my hair. Very good stuff! Thanks. Will come again.

  I booked to go to touch Hair and Beauty at the weekend and I must say they restyled my hair and I had a new colour FANTASTIC BRILLIANT aI would recommend them to everyone. They made me look 10years younger BIG THANK YOU.

• Hair and Nails

  My hair has been cut at Touch for 2 years, I have always been pleased with the cut, and the staff have been willing (and able) to meet with my requests if I fancy a change. I prefer to have a more subtle colour and a few highlights, they are always excellent with advice on what would suit me. NAILS!! I have long nails that I keep in good condition. Over the past few years I have tried harder gels, soft gels and acrylics. The new Go-Gel at Touch has been by far the best. It lasts for longer, infills are quicker and easier, and it is kinder to my nails. They have a good selection of colours, glitter tips and the French finish is great.

• Good but not excellent

  I have been going to Touch for about 18 months now for waxing and other beauty treatments and generally the experience is very good. Unfortunately my initial beautician who I got on very well with no longer does treatments which was a bit upsetting and since then I have had a few different people which is not quite giving such a personal service. On the whole though I am very happy and have no cause for complaint. My only bugbear is that I usually find bits that have been missed during an eyebrow or leg wax and I think this is because the rooms are so dark! Is there any way small lamps could be used to ensure this work is done thoroughly. My only other comment is that the brochure claims to cut under 2's hair for free but you can't book them in and every time I've dropped in to try this out no-one has been available so I wonder if it really happens??!! Marie is excellent though - a really good ambassador for this business.

• NAIL EXTENSIONS

  I've been visiting this salon for several years to have my nails done. Although I have never been able to see the same person twice the standard of service I have recieved has always been good. The nails last me over 6 weeks.

• hair and beauty

  Very prompt service. When I need my roots re-doing they were onto it there and then. Amazing service. Eye lash tint and eyebrow shape also very good with no stray hairs left un-waxed. Very good indeed.
