  We use a laptop for competitions at the club, on several occasions we had some technical problems. With one phone call the laptop was picked up, taken away and within a few days the problem was solved. It turned out to be a hard drive error, something not everyone can solve. A new hard drive was installed and all software reinstated. The final bill was less than we were expecting, as a result of this service we now have an annual health check booked with Stephen.

• Advise re purchasing and setting up new computer

  I use a computer daily but know nothing about the inner workings - as long as it works when I switch it on.. When my old ME Windows and computer started slowing down I rang Steve. He promptly came round and advised me to purchase a new laptaop (takes up less space and I can use it anywhere. It was also reasonably priced). He assisted me in making the right choice and then came back and set it all up for me within a few days. Just what I needed - completely hassle free. My laptop is great. - I would recommend one to any home user. Steve is worth his weight in gold. He was completely honest, reliable and most importantly knew what he was talking about it and gave excellent advise in a very professional way.

• life saver

  My computer bacame very ill and even as a nurse I could not restore it back to health. Wanting to support local small business I found BJ computers in the local parish mag. Stephen came the same day and spent some hours assessing the problem, and suggesting a cure. There was no pressure to upgrade or change the whole system, he was able to take the computer away overnight, fix it, save all my progs. etc return it the next day. The costs were very reasonable. I would certainly use this service again and have already recommended the business to friends

• Internet and email problems

  This is a service provided locally to me. It means no travelling into town etc or lengthy phone calls. After initially making contact with Burton Joyce Computers, to the job being done, I have nothing but praise for this service. I would have no hesitation in making use of this business in the future. Its a pleasure to come across a service who is honest, reliable and friendly.
