Huge place that sometimes has 3000 people inside. There are loads of students here as its students only on Monday and Tuesday. Make sure you bring your student id. Monday nights are Nottingham uni and tuesday nights are Nottingham trent uni. They play a huge variety of music, in the small room on the right there is rnb music which usually gets very busy. In the main room is a variety of cheese and dance and this is where most hang out. Below there is a disco room with lots of lights and drunk people! There is also a Australian chill out room if you like that.

Great club in my opinion! As a student I've had some of the best times in there. The music is great as it has different rooms, you'll always find something you fancy! Prices are reasonable & they sometimes have special offers too, sometimes on entry & sometimes on drinks. I find that most of the crowd consists of uni students or young professional. People are very friendly & I've never seen any fights or anything like that going on there. Quite unsually they also have their own hotdog stand in there! I think it's fab when you get the munchies! (or there's a kebab shop just across the road!)
Oceana is a superclub, housing five different bars and clubs under one roof. Start off chatting and having a couple of drinks in the Ski Lodge in the basement. Then the club is your oyster! Choose between the crowds and R'n'B music of The Ball Room, the cheesy music and fun of the 70's inspired Disco Room, or the space to chat and dance in the bars upstairs. Keep and eye on your friends and never go anywhere in the club alone, because chances are you won't find anybody again! But why would that matter when there are so many people to meet?

Oceana has something for everyone with a variety of bars set with different themes and music to go with it. Towards the end of the night it can get really busy and cramped with the likely possibility that you may lose some of the people you went there with. The bars are always really busy as you would expect in any club but once you get through the crowd, service is not bad although some of the bar staff seem pretty selective with who they want to serve. The door staff are extremely strict and will only let you in if you have both forms of id, proof of age and student id.

This is the official Nottingham uni club night on a Monday. I don't think the music is anything different to anywhere else. At the beginning of a night it is really cold because of the aircon and lack of people and at the end it is so sweaty it's untrue. The cheese room downstairs has a cool floor but I can't stomach the music to be honest. They don't let you out once you've gone in unless you want to pay again. There is a cloakroom which is good I guess.Basically you will probably like it if you like cheese, RnB and chart music but anyone looking for something more don't bother.
This is the only club I know with its own hotdog stand inside it! I love it here because the people there are awesome, the music is cool and they have a little bit of everything – they even sell mohito in a bottle! The drinks are reasonable but not stupidly cheap and the entry can be pricey if you’re going in late and stuff. The dancers on the podiums leave a lot to be desired but at least they sort of add to the atmosphere and get people going. It’s always packed in here so close to your friends! The upstairs rooms are great and they have their own bars which is good, it can get a bit cold upstairs though!

Top club more forn the late 20s early 40s cool lighted 80s dance floor no trouble or rude boys and ting!!
enjoyed the diffrent styled rooms and dance floor by far the best is the 80s flashing floor makes you think your right out of saturday night feaver- staying alive for real!! being a bit on the older side (30ish) I dont want to go out and worry about drunk young punks fronting up to me or my misses people generaly want to just have a drink and a dance. Bad points. only one i can think of was the last time i went they had just had the carpets cleaned and they stunk of a mixture a very stale BO and wet dog!!! Will def go again however want to try Halo out anyone been?
