Fantastic Teaching in a caring environment

My daughter started at the school in the Pre-School class at the age of 2 and a 1/2. Having progressed through the school now my daughter's confidence has just soared. From entering the school as a very shy little girl Olivia has given my daughter the confidence to perform in the schools annual show and also the self belief for her ballet, tap and modern examinations. The school is perfect for those parents who would like their children to receive fantastic technical teaching but in a fun and caring environment which brings out the most of a child's talent.

Both my daughters attend Fennell School of Dance and have both thrived. The tuition and opportunities given to my daughters and the other students is fantastic! I would most definitely recommend this school to other parents who are hoping for their children to learn from a very talented teacher in a caring and nurturing environment.

Enrol at our dance school and benefit from being taught by experienced and qualified Royal Academy of Dance teachers. Classes are held at our school based within Nottingham High School for Girls and are designed to encourage creativity, discipline and independent thinking.
Fennell School of Dance offers a wide range of classes, Royal Academy of Dance Ballet, IDTA Modern and IDTA Tap, for young people aged four upwards.

So whether you are already taking classes and wish to join a thriving school to develop your technique or skills further, or are new to dance and looking for a fun way to get fit, we have the class to suit your ability

Specialist Services:

Here at Fennell School of Dance we offer classes in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Contemporary, Theatre Craft and Festivals for both boys and girls aged 2 ½ upwards. The dance school follows the Royal Academy of Dance syllabus which prepares pupils for classical ballet examinations from Pre-Primary through to Advanced II. The Royal Academy of Dance syllabus and examinations are internationally recognised and accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) in England and The Council for Dance Education and Training (CDET). Fennell School of Dance also follows the International Dance Teachers Association syllabus which prepares pupils for examinations in Tap and Modern dance. All pupils are encouraged to set achievable goals for themselves through either examinations or presentation classes. However examinations are not compulsory and more importantly pupils are encouraged to develop confidence, discipline, creativity and independent thinking.

In September, a wider range of classes will be available, not only will we offer: RAD Ballet Tap Modern and Festival classes We will also be running Street Dance, National , Greek classes for children and adults.
