Amuse Me Toys

Absolutely fantastic. I recommend all parents, grandparents or any one looking for a child, toddler or newborn baby present visit this magical toy shop that would not be out of place in Covent Garden. What caught my eye walking past the shop was the huge globe hanging in the window. Entering the shop a Dapple Grey Rocking Horse that would not look out of place in a Victorian child's bedroom immediately took my eye, especially so as an almost life-like Puppet Witch appeared to be riding for all her worth, then taking pride of place towards the back of the room, a chrome metal pedal racing car that must be every young (and old) boys's dream present. Onto the main room, a girls paradise with groovy girl cloth dolls and a range of hand-made mirrors that should adorn all little princesses bedrooms. Oh and I forgot the toys for babies and toddlers. I found a Whoozit. And to top it all there's plenty of space to browse and take it all in, and the staff very knowledgeable, extremely enthusiastic and obviously enjoy sharing in the excitement that all children must feel when walking into this magical toy shop. An absolutely recommended visit when shopping in Newark.
