Tarn Thai Restaurant

Thai is not my favourite meal, but I was very impressed with Tarn Thai. I read somewhere that the chefs there have come across from Thailand and it shows in the cooking which you can tell is of a very high standard and more authenic than most 'foreign' resturants in Nottingham. I endorse the comments of others that if you like Thai you will love Tarn Thai and if you are not that keen, give it a try, you may suprise yourself and at the prices they charge you will always get great value for money!! Well worth a visit.

The decor is absolutely stunning and the staff!? They were wonderful, hospitable and warm. I'd never eaten thai food before, but i want to go back to Tarn Thai as soon as possible. It was just so clean, with the perfect balance of modern and traditional. I ate from the lunch menu with my mum and dad and for £7 we got appetizers (which were delicious) main course (also amazing) and drinks. I had a wonderful time and will definately go back there again.

Don't bother with this place on a busy night. They are unable to cope with their crazy fixed sittings at 7pm and 9pm - there is minimal seating for the queues of hungry customers and this just encourages obnoxious types to start complaining and pushing through. A group of five women next to us were still waiting for their food at 11pm. Fairly tasty, better than mediocre, but generally over-rated.

Had a quick pre-cinema meal last night and was very impressed with quality, taste, service and decor. Each dish was 'just right' - the chef certainly knows what he is doing. If you love Thai food, you must visit Tarn Thai!

This place definetly has the wow factor, great service, and the food was great. It was all topped off by the fact that it didn't break the bank! defineitly reccommend this place for a night out wheather its a date or family of friends!!
