Everest TV Aerial & Satellite Specialist

I booked this shower to install an Aerial at my new house via yellow pages. First arranged day they didnt turn up and rang to say that the engineer had called in sick "as was often the case on a Saturday". They re-booked for the Following Friday and once again didnt turmn up. I called them to find that the engineer was too busy that day and they could rebook it for the next day (Saturday). Needless to say they then called to sya that the engineer had gone sick and they would have to re-book again. This time although extremely tempted to cancel they guaranteed to arrive at 8.30 on Monday morning and we got a friends Mum to take time off to be there. As of noon on MOnday there has been no word from them. A call from us was greeted with " the engineer is on the way, but is stuck in traffic". So after three further hours of not hearing anything I dont think we will be bothering again.

Fell for large advertisement in Yellow Pages. I asked for them to connect a DVD player to TV system in my public house. They told me it was impossible and charged £45 for call out. Son came in from school and did it for me. No refunds, refuse to discuss it, looking at legal action. Don't go anywhere near them.

I booked for an engineer to visit me between the hours of 9am and 5pm in order to carry out a signal test with a view to purchasing a digital aerial. I understood that I would be contacted 30mins before the visit. So I changed my normal plans to ensure that I was very much based at home. At 4.30pm I get a call from the call centre so say that the engineer had been "delayed and would not be coming". I was asked if I would like to make another appointment. Frankly I was too angry to speak. This is very poor management and they have just lost a customer. I would advise anybody hoping to get a free signal test NOT to use Everest (who also trade under View Technology) because they are literally a waste of time!
