    I ordered a playhouse last monday 28th and it arrived today 5th at 8.15am we have put it together and it looks fine, not a hundred percent but nothing we could not put right (not worth complaining about) would consider using again.

  • 1 Waltons Garden Buildings. Really Avoid Avoid Avoid

    Totally Disgusted in this company. I ordered a 10x12 Metal shed from them on 08-06-2008, all OK there, 2 days later they gave me a delivery date of 12-06-2008. I stopped in all day waiting and past five in the evening I thought I would give them a ring, After waiting for 20 odd minutes to be connected to a so called customer sales team, they told me this item was out of stock but they have debited my credit card. After several calls waiting 20 to 30 minutes each time to be connected to an advisor (again at my expense) has proved fruitless. I have emailed, I have also phoned and been put through to a answering machine and left my contact deals to no avail. They have not contacted me once since telling me a delivery date. I now have to seek legal advice from the Trading Standards and my Credit Card company, which I have done and waiting on their responses. A little common courtesy to inform me what had gone wrong would have gone a long way, but they simply have total disregard for your custom. They are now sitting on £389.99 of my money and have never even attempted to refund me. After reading the other posts it seems mine is not an isolated case? Why did I use this business? Because a friend across the road had one of these sheds from Waltons and had no problems. Really Buyer Beware, I echo what others have said here and that is deal with these at your peril. How was the service? In a word, Atrocious. Would I use again? NO not ever. What could the business do better? In my particular case they certainly could do everything better.

  • 2 Also a victim

    Unfortunately I have also fallen victim to Walton's Garden Building's mascarade as a reputable company. I ordered my shed and was told I had to be here to receive it or I would have to leave a signed note giving permission for it to be delivered in my absence. They agreed they would contact me prior to delivery but did not. No note was left but they left the shed at the front of the house for any passerby to take while I was at work. When I finally got around to erecting the shed I found the nails were the wrong sizes, the instruction sheet was not legible and the parts did not correspond with what was illustrated. I contacted them and was left holding for approximately 20mins so I hung up and emailed them. They did not respond to arrange for delivery of the correct nails etc. I emailed them again and expressed my dismay at the poor service I was receiving and they still haven't bothered to respond. Someone mentioned earlier that once they have your money they don't care....I found that to be 100% true in my case.

  • 1 Avoid like the plague II

    I had a children’s playhouse delivered with parts missing... can I get hold of them? Left queuing on their "Customer Service Team" line for what seems an age with endless recorded messages saying email out customer support team. Emailed the team twice so far, I know they've read the message as I have received a read receipt, but no resolution not even an acknowledgment which is just plain rude as it’s clear from my email how frustrated I am getting.

    I ordered a shed from Waltons via Shedstore.co.uk. They couldn't follow simple delivery instructions (to call me before delivery) so the shed was just left on my drive until i got home from work. One essential piece was missing and another broken. I've now called Waltons about 6 or 7 times trying to get the missing piece and broken piece replaced. The person I need to speak to is never available and they've never called me back once (even though they've promised it every time). It's now over a week since the initial delivery and i'm no closer to being able to build my shed than i was before i ordered it. The Waltons web site promises 1st class customer service - if this is 1st class, i'd hate to see 2nd class. Get a shed from anywhere else - it's easier.
