Superb - great service

I shop here every Saturday morning for my family weekly groceries. I almost don't want to share my review of this place because I don't want it to get much busier. It has cheeses, meats, fruit and veg, and a bakery. Food is good, prices are good. Service is friendly and excellent. On a busy Saturday morning you can queue for a few minutes to check out, but when you are served your bags are packed and you can expect a friendly chat. If you have more than you can carry to your car, they will help. The staff are very knowledgeable about the produce, especially the butchers. The bakery will slice loaves to your preferred thickness. Produce is local where possible, often from the farm itself, but hey, they sell bananas so be realistic in your expectations. The use of wheeled baskets is really handy.
