About Us

Brief description

Find your singing voice. Lessons for individuals and small groups; all styles, all ages, all abilities. Free first lesson. CT ABRSM qualified teacher. Studio location 2 miles east of Nottingham city centre. Choral coaching and vocal workshops available. Adult beginners particularly welcome.

Singers of all ages and abilities are welcome at the Find Your Voice Studio. Your teacher, Glenn Chaney, is CT ABRSM qualified with over 15 years experience working with singers. People come for singing lessons for lots of different reasons. Some students are aiming for an audition (recording contract, music theatre lead role, X Factor), some are looking to improve their contribution to their choir and others do it simply because it makes them feel good. You can prepare for an exam in popular vocals, music theatre or classical singing. You get a free archive recording of every lesson on CD for you to review at home. Glenn is the Director of the 100 strong all female Lace City Chorus who are the current UK champions and ranked 6th in the World in 2008 (www.lacecity.org). He also directs the all male Major Oak Chorus and he sings lead in the UK finalist quartet Four Blokes Singin' . Glenn coaches choruses and quartets around the UK and he is a tutor for the Benslow Trust.

    As a complete novice who had always wanted to have a few singing lessons, I went along with no expectations of having more than a couple of lessons. The lessons far exceeded my expectations - Glenn is a really encouraging teacher, who got me over my self consciousness and nervousness. I am now a convert to singing and will continue to have lessons, for no other reason than that I really enjoy them! I would urge anyone who either has doubts about their own abilities, or who wants to know more about the skills involved in singing well to book a couple of lessons with Glenn - you'll be hooked!
