• Just what I was looking for

  I'm glad I found this shop, it's the fabric gem of the east midlands! I drive up every week when I want to browse for inspiration, since they have SOOOO many fabrics of all sorts. But when I know what I want I just order it off their site, I save time and fuel, and it gets here sometimes in 2 days!!

• Don't drive 11/2 hours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  Phoned and explained I needed mass farbic for dance school show/competions/and exam work. Drove 11/2 hours to get there,found 2 assistants sat on a couch the younger of the two had a bad attitude and a couldn't be bothered work ethic!!! Told them I had phoned ,she did remember,but didn't put herself out at all to be helpfull!!!!!!!!!!! Was told that I could look upstairs,when I asked how to get upstairs she came out with some wise crack "well,what's the magic word?"The elder of the two assistants was more helpfull,but I am never going to that shop again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHAT A MISSED BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY WE WERE TALKING HUNDREDS OF POUNDS NOT JUST THE ODD METRE!!!!!!!!!! What happened to good old fashione courtesy and customer service???????? I'll take my custom where it is apreciated,and the assistants can be bothered to get off their bums when customers come into the shop!!!!!!!!

• SUPERB SERVICE

  I recently purchased 20 meters of fabric from both the ebay store and the website, and they arrived THE NEXT DAY at my door!! The fabric is WONDERFUL, and I didn't know such high quality material was available on the consumer market. This is my new favorite store.

• Wonderful Experiance

  I visited The Fabric Place my first time last month, and I have visited 15 times since then! They have so much fabric, and such a wide variety of goods, I can't imagine how anyone could visit and not find what they were looking for! You can even buy online, or on eBay! I highly recommend this shop to anybody searching for fabrics outside or inside nottingham.

• Fantastic

  The service in this shop was absolutely marvellous. They went out of their way to find me the fabric I wanted which very special. They helped me calculate the meterage I needed. They even carried the parcel to my car.
