  After visiting various tattoo studios in my area I was starting to think that all tattoo studios looked like dark, dirty cupboards :( After some more researching, I came across Rampant ink and was so impressed when I visited...was made to feel welcome and had a good discussion about what I wanted. It was drawn up and a few weeks later had it done by Rachel. It was my first tattoo and she was really nice, healed up brill and looks ace :) Was so good I have been well and truly bitten by the tattoo bug and am saving up for a custom sleeve and backpiece and will defo be going back to Rampant ink to have it done :D

• Fantastic Tattoo!

  Rach kindly did me a one off design of a lovely Gothic cat girl sitting in a chair. I was so pleased with her work I am going back in July to have another one done! She was so kind and they made me feel very welcome!

• pin up girls by the lovely and very talented rachael huntington

  after searching for someone who could do a life like pin up girl tattoo, l came across rampantink on myspace. l made an appointment to have a chat with the lovely rachael huntington. we spoke about what kind of pin up l wanted and left some idea's for rachael to work with. when l saw what rachael had drawn l was blown away with the detail !! now l have a awesome queen of hearts pin up girl. l have been to some tattoo studio's over the years, and nothing compare's to rampantink. they are so friendly . if anyone is considering any ink l would tell you straight away rampantink is the place to go. l'm having some more art work done soon and l cannot wait !!

• Great place,Great Tattoo's

  After having a few small tattoo's done previously at various hell holes i decided to try my local tattooist which came very highly recommended to me. Upon entering the shop i was met with a smiley,friendly greeting which put me at ease straight away. I discussed with the reception person my needs and thoughts and then i was introduced to Gray the owner/tattooist whom was only to willing to help me. With my own ideas and his wealth of experience i was more than happy with the outcome which resulted in me having a 13 hour tattoo done by Gray on my thigh which is truly amazing with all the colours and detail.(I'm told the other tattooists there are very good too) The shop and set up is totally proffesional and very very clean.I would certainly recommend Rampant Ink to anybody that wants a great piece of ink artwork (tattoo) and an excuse to get your trousers down in the pub to show of the brilliance. A++++ cheers

  Iv been to alot of tattooists in Nottingham and have to say this one is by far far the best, Gray and the gang are exceptional friendly and they always make you feel welcome, its very rare now adays to actual find artists that take 110% pride in their work! i recommend infact tell you all that you you think of ink think Rampant Ink!!! • Gray Silva, great artist.

  I had quite a few tattoos done by several different artists in different parts of the U.K. in the late 70s and early 80s. After a break of almost twenty years, I was bitten by the tattoo bug again, and was looking for a local artist to do a custom back-piece. Having met with complete disinterest from one well known Nottingham studio, I decided to try Rampant Ink. I discussed my ideas with Gray and booked my first appointment. Gray surpassed my expectations. He was able to bring together my rough ideas into an improved, coherent design. And when the actual tattooing began, I was greatly impressed by the quality of his work and his attention to detail. So impressed in fact, that we are now nearing completion of my full body-suit! If you are looking for top-quality tattooing in a nice environment with friendly, helpful people, then I would heartily recommend Rampant Ink to you.

• Passionate About Tattooing !

  After spending a lot of time researching where to get my latest tattoo done as it was something rather special my search finally lead me to Rampant Ink in Netherfield on the outskirts of Nottingham after seeing Gray Silva working at a national tattoo convention. On my first visit I soon realised I had come to the right place, the studio is great being done out in a classic 1950’s style, the staff were all very professional and knowledgeable answering all my questions while I waited to see Gray the owner to discuss my design. When I finally sat with Gray and went through the design it was great! The guy is a true artist and he really thinks in a different way, you just give him some idea of the content you want and he just runs away with it and expands it in ways you had never considered, after my consultation I was happy to book an appointment and leave the designing to Gray. When I went to the studio for my first appointment I was equally impressed, the tattooing area was bright, modern and above all spotlessly cleans with all the latest equipment for sterilisation, tattoo preparation and application. Gray spent some time drawing free hand on my skin as a lot of my work couldn’t be done by transfer. When the work started I was surprised at the amount that he got done in the first session, much more than I expected. After two more sessions my piece was finished and let me tell you the end result is AWSOME!! Done in Grays own unique style it’s bold with fantastic colours, it was amazing to see an idea turned into an original piece of art and then have it applied with great skill to my skin. Gray certainly is a true artist who has real passion for what he does.

• when only the best will do

  After having a couple of bad tattoos when i was younger i always kept my arms coverd up.A friend had an awsome tattoo by Gray so I called in to rampant ink and could not believe what Gray was capable of with his tattooing.I have had hours of tattoo work comleted on my body by Gray and now love to show them off.Awsome person ,Awsome art, Awsome experiance. • it doesnt get any better than this

  i was never having a tattoo but after seeing my younger brothers i booked in for my first at rampant ink. my first was done by gray 8 years ago, i know have many most done by gray but my latest one by rachael. i must say each time i have been i have always been and am always impresssed by the professional manner all the staff work. the empathis on health and hygiene could not be more.in my eyes this studio is the best you will ever visit anywhere.

• sleave tattoo at rampant ink

  after deciding on the style of tattoo that i wanted i researched the nottingham area to find a tattoo studio that could deliver high quialty work in a clean and freindly enviroment. after quite a few dissapointing visits to shops that looked like cleaning was something that needed to be done about once a year, and designs straight off the printer , i was recomeded to try gray silver at rampant ink for an origanal design from a artist who cares about the work he is doing, i found this to be true when visiting to have a look around the studio, i booked a consultation to talk about the work i was thinking of having done ,i found the advice and work carried out to be done to a high standared with unique design and great skill , the shop was very modern and clean with helpful and freindly staff.
