Today my partner and I decided that we could afford the luxury of having something to eat out and as we were passing we called in to Ma Hubbards in Mansfield. Boy we both wished we hadn't. We both had the big pasty with chips and baked beans with a capperchino to drink. Baked beans - cold - not even a hint of warmth pasty - what more can one say - pastry and microwave desaster and filling hot at edges and center tepid. Chips - well had been hot at one point - Coffee - if you didnt mind insulting the coffee industry - more like water - whitener - and hey a little brown colouring to resemble coffee colour otherwise heated H2O If only we could have been from the good food guide the rating would have reflected the meal i.e. minus 10 The food above was returned so the error could be ameneded - but guess what - baked beans were not the chefs speciality unless where he comes from they are served cold - Whole event extremely memorable - NOT to be repeated
