I visited the shop and told the owner that I wanted those drawers as they were and a wardrobe lightening to match the drawers. He told me that this was no problem that it could be done. They were delivered a week later but the drawers had been darkened to match the wardrobe. The opposite to what I had ordered, I rang the owner who told me that he would sort it but after weeks then months of telephoning him he finally told me that he wouldn't correct the mistake. that he would only lighten the drawers (not the wardrobe) back to what they were if I had them delivered back to him and returned them to me at my expense, but then I would still have a wardrobe that was too dark. I was devastated as this furniture was awful and didnt match the rest in the bedroom. I contacted trading standards but as he didn't write this on my receipt I hadn't a leg to stand on. The furniture cost me just under £600 and I had previously bought most of my home furniture from him and this is how he treats his customers. Well he doesn't deserve any.
