sold my 75 year old father a battery and refused to refund, its was never made clear electrical items are non return . I spoke with Des agreed a credit only to be turned away by a very rude staff member called Paul, hanging up the phone then just putting me on hold. What is this all about , its ok when you send me home with the wrong part... DISGUSTING SERVICE

never using sutton ever again, they always give you wrong parts even though they have your car registration make and model, they gave me the wrong brake pads and discs twice, and now my car is in the garage they have rang me to say i have the wrong cambelt!! which i got from sutton going to write a very angry letter, it is suttons job to ensure there computer information is correct

Although the staff seemed to know exactly what i needed, they gave me the wrong part, even though i told them the make and model of my car. It meant a trip back on a sunday morning.

The last two times I have rang them they have given me a cheaper price on the phone than the actual price when I get there. The last time I rang they said the part was £50 cheaper than it actually was and I have a 24 mile round trip to get there. So I just don't bother now

Sold me a full exaust but the cat was wrong. This left me with no option but take it and have the exaust done somewhere else at a higher cost. When returning the parts they would only refund the cat and not the gaskets, front and rear sections even though they were useless without the cat. It had took 2 failed deliverys into store to get the cat in the 1st place so i had lost a days repair time before i started.

By no fault of the staff the wrong part was listed on Sutton Auto Factors computer. However when I fitted the part and it broke my car both the sales assistant, I initially dealt with, and the store manager were not able to see that they were at fault in any way, even though I did ask the sales assistant twice that it would definitely fit as it looked different. It cost me 14 pounds to repair the car from the damage, so not a great deal, but it would have been nice for them to have had at least a small amount of understanding with this. I wouldn't personally use this company again.
