• Replace Damaged Pan Connector

  The pan connector of our rarely used downstairs toilet was highly damaged with a big hole in it. Mr Chris Martin, who is a highly professional plumber, immediately diagnosed the problem and attributed the damage to the persistent gnawing by large rats moving in the sewage pipes. He then replaced the damaged pan connector using much stronger cement, which would be resistant to gnawing by rats. As always, we are delighted with the work he did, and for the reasonable charge for it.

• HIghly recommended - great service

  Chris arrived at the time agreed, was thoroughly professional, courteous, friendly & very efficient. First he visited neighbours downstream to check things, then he unblocked our sewer without fuss or bother. Everything was done to highest standards including cleaning up afterwards & spraying insides of the manhole and sewer with a deodorising spray (lemon scented). Don't worry about being ripped off, Chris' rate was very competitive & extremely good value. So, don't delay call Chris today!

• Repairs to Pipework & Fitting Isolation Valve

  Mr Martin, whom we have now known for sometime, carried repairs to outside hot & cold pipework, and also fitted a new isolation valve in the Kitchen. As usual, he did this quickly, efficiently and professionally. His total charges for labour and parts were reasonable. We recommend him very strongly.for any kind of plumbing jobs

• Blocked Drain

  I had to call Chris Martin plumbing as we had 2 blocked toilets in the hotel I worked. Chris was out within 20 minutes and sorted out what was an extremely difficult job. He even rearranged his work schedule to make the call out. All an all a first class service.

• An incredible service from start to finish

  From the very first minute Chris responded to our emergency (our water tank was leaking meaning no hot water or heating) with professionalism and efficiency. He arrived early on a Saturday morning, quickly diagnosed what was wrong and always kept us informed as to what he was doing to resolve the problem. By the end of the job we had so much faith in his expertise that we asked him to do other jobs in the house, which he did with similar 'aplumb' (sorry, bad joke!). The icing on the cake was the competitive quote. I could not speak more highly of Chris and would recommend him to anyone.

• Quick, efficient and excellent value

  I had to call Chris due to a burst water pipe in the attic that was cascading water down two floors and causing us to have no heating or water on one of the coldest days of the year. He arrived quickly and was excellent, very quick, professional and kept us fully informed with the cause, the solution and also any longer term advice that we needed. We both really appreciated his professionalism and thenquality of work. To cap it off we were very pleasantly surprised at the quote . We will definately be using Chris again for any other plumbing work (hopefully not having to use him for emergency work again) and would recommend him to anyone.

• Water Pressure Problems

  I have used Chris Martin for over a year and have always found him the most efficiient of plumbers. Just recently I asked him to advise me on a 4 year problem I had had with poor water pressure coming into my bungalow. The incoming water in the village is only one and a half bars and with a Combi Boiler we really had problems with running a bath - up to 30 minutes and still not good. Chris researched and came up with a Grundfoss Home Booster which has now been fitted and is brilliant. The water pressure now is up to three and half bars. His work is so good - on time, neat and effective and Chris himself is a true gentleman. I do not think that I have ever had any person from any trade who works as brilliantly as Chris. From reading his other reviews, I think we need to start a fan club!

• finally an honest tradesman!

  a big thank you...chris martin came to the rescue and provided an accurate diagnosis and swift resolution of a drains problem and went above and beyond the predicted job to achieve this. ( my other quote had been for a jawdropping 5 figure quote for major building work to solve the apparent problem) i had really lost faith in finding an honest tradesman in nottingham but this is what i got. i found him on touch nottingham and therefore leave a definite receommendation in thanks for the job well done.
