Pysrex Soundlab is without a doubt the coolest recording studio and rehearsal room in the whole of Nottingham. I thoroughly recommend them. Founder member Psyko is a dream of an engineer to work with, who provides both thoughtful insight and creative suggestion while managing to keep the atmosphere relaxed and cheerful. Considering the state of my nerves when I came to record my vocals here, the man deserves a medal for his patience. My heartfelt thanks for bringing out the best in me.

Psyrex seems to have it all. Utilizing a mixture of analogue components, as well as state of the art digital mixing packages, Psyrex delivers the goods. The engineer lives music, his breadth of the subject is astounding. Equally impressive is Psyrex’ commitment to continuous improvement of the studio. Each visit brings new surprises, and new recording equipment to experiment with.

Highly recommended, Psyrex has managed to achieve the right balance between relaxation, professionalism, and creativity which result in an excellent studio experience.
