Interflora
My partner order flower from andersons via the interflora website at total cost of £60 including delivery! When i received the flowers they were wilting. So followed the care label and within 2 days they were dead. So rang them up to be spoken to veru rudely and unprofessional. Waited in all day for them to be collected so the manager could decide 'wether to replace them or not'!!! never heard a thing for the rest of the day. next day chased them for my new bouquet but was told i would have to go and collect them!! when i got there to collect them, they tried to put the blame on me for the fact that they had died within such a short period of time!! gave me a new bouquet with no paper bag! they werent even worth £50 for the flowers so took them into another interflora and asked how much they would charge for them.... They said £25 maximum!!! and they wouldnt have even put the colour of flowers together then questioned their skills!!! rang interflora and got a full refund as i was disgusted with such poor service from supposidly the best florist in nottingham!!!! avoid at all cost!
A quirkey little shop with great customer service, the ladies are most helpful...esp if ur in rush n you need a gerbera stem or two cutting before you give it to a loved one.
I was on the receiving end of the flowers, and found a notecard from Andersons in my letterbox when I returned home Saturday afternoon. I rang the florist up, as the note suggested I do, in order to claim the flowers they were to deliver. I found the woman on the other end of the phone rather unfriendly and rude to be honest. She was rude about asking for my phone number, saying they had tried to ring me and it didn't work. The flowers couldn't be delivered on the Sunday so I suggested I go down to the shop myself that day. The shop sign says Interflora, NOT Andersons, and apart from a tiny poster in the shop window, that is the only way of knowing. There was only one woman in the shop, who seemed under pressure with the customers she had to deal with on her own. She could have been friendlier. I also felt bad for my boyfriend who sent the flowers, as I am sure he must have spent a lot of money on the delivery of them, when I collected the flowers myself. My experience was offputting and I don't think I would ever use them myself.
I was in a real panic. It was our anniversary and I'd forgot as usual.
I looked around on the web for some ideas, and thought flowers would be just the thing.
But it was now 11am, and thought I didn't stand a chance in having anything delivered. Jane was leaving work at 3pm to pick the kids up from school.
I found the Anderson's web site and found loads of ideas. They said they could deliver in 3 hours which was just what I wanted.
They delivered the flowers and jane was well pleased. The girls at the office were really jealous apparently. The bouquet had a lot of different stuff, not like the usual run of the mill florist, but really unusual flowers.
I pushed the boat out a bit (anniversary and all)but found that I also got 10% off as well !!
I hadn't heard of them before, but It appears that they have been in Nottingham for ages.
I'd recommend them to anyone, and have used them again since at Mother's Day. Mum was pleased with hers too !!
