THIS COMPANY IS CRAP KEEP CLEAR!!! I bought a car in october 2006 from approved car credit in sutton in ashfield, they rang me at 8 pm to say if i got there before 10pm i could drive away anycar regardless of my credit history.Well this was a godsend i so needed a car as my old one was past its sell by date, they even drove 25 miles to pick me up! It all looked so good.Got there he said pick any car you like i was in heaven ha ha anyway i work in quarry so wanted a 4 wheel drive.I could afford a lot so i thought to myself stick to a 5000 limit. so i caught glimpse of the suzuki jimny it was great but it was dark! i asked salesman for a test drive he said no because it was late but he said if any problems occur he guaranteed me it would be fixed straight away.he sounded very legit. within half hour and 5 drinks later i was driving it away. I left garage a happy man till 20 minutes later when car broke down it was 10 at night so i rang them he said sorry cant do anything as he was locking up to go home and that to ring 1st thing in the morning,so thats what i did. its now nearly 2 years on and nothing has been sorted. i have sent over 500 e mails 10 letters and even trade standards have been in touch with them and still nothing.DO NOT GO WITH THESE PEOPLE THEY ARE ARE BUNCH OF ROBBING BASTXXXS if it was us owing them im sure we would have baliffs knocking after 24hrsTHEY ARE NOTHING BUT CON ARTISTS PLEASE AVOID THEM AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
You read the terms and conditions......But you still sign , you are so happy you are getting money or a new car you dont look at the imperfections at the time , like a high APR or a window that doest close..... i mean are you sure , why did you drive it away in the first place , you guys really need to think these things thru.......and you clearly havent!

Where do i start, they are thieves. When i bought my vehicle (which i have only had 3 days) they let me drive it illegally off the forecourt with no tax disk. There was no fuel in the vehicle and when i raised the issue with the salesman his response was well you have the £40 taxi money i gave you to get over here!! I have discovered many faults with the vehicle, it is a convertible and the electric roof doesn't work i took it to my local dealer who advised me there is no power going to the electrics for the roof what-so-ever & there is possibly an electrical fault. The drivers window is not flush with the vehicle and does not seal due to an inch gap so the vehicle is prone to weather damage and a possible attempted break in, the mileage that was stated to me was 38'000 miles and the mileage was 4'000 miles over this and on top of all this the vehicle i took for a test drive was not the vehicle i ended up buying I rang the company up and explained to them that i wanted them to come and recover the vehicle as i was not prepared to drive the vehicle back to them with no tax but i wished to cancel my agreement to which they replied that the agreement was a non cancelable(?) agreement and that they would recover the vehicle and carry out the repairs! So they wont let me return the vehicle to them, even though they are carrying out the reapairs they are going to get the vehicle back to me somehow!!! arghhhhhh this company sucks and would advise anyone that is even contemplating using this company 'FOR GODS SAKE DON'T'

I had a loan for £1000 from welcome finance. When I was admitted to hospital suffering from cancer, my mother wrote to them and informed them of the situation. They did not freeze the account as they should have done and claimed by the time that I was released from hospital that I owed them £3500. After paying £3000 of this ridiculous amount, I was then informed that I still owed them £1200 because of the way that they apply interest. I have tried to resolve the situation for the past six months, each person has agreed that the account has been paid and has said they will 'get back to me' which they never do. I have now had a debt collector come round and say that I owe this money and they are adding charges. This is the worse company I have every had themisfortune to deal with. They are unhelpful, they lie constantly and their charges are ridiculous. They even charged me £35 for phone calls apparently made to my work when I was in hospital, phone calls which my employee has verified did not happen. Avoid at all costs!!!

I have been a customer for several years now but on the25/3/05 i purchased a car from WELCOME FINANCE . I have had the car for 26 months and in that time it went into the garage for the clutch cylinder within the first month. Then once again for the same problem the second month. Then after 19 months the engine blow up and it has been in the garage for the last 6 months. The machanical breakdown insurance have agreed to pay £1000 . WELCOMES Liegh branch manager agreed that they would do the same which would leave myself to pay the remainder which i reluctantly agreed to with the understanding that i would only pay half the monthly payment untill the car was repaired.Since then there branch manager has moved on and the now new manager has gone back on the agreement. She was very rude to my wife when she spoke to her about this matter saying that if we do not pay a certain amount this month, she will not release the cheque and she will see us in court. Which has left me very bitter and now looking for legal advice
