  • 5 Music Inn monday 2nd Feb09.

Made my first large perchase from the store which was an Ibanez RG 350dx a week ago, i found the staff to be really friendly they left me to look over the guitar in my own time without trying to sell it to me. Any questions i had were quickly and politly answered the staff know about the products in depth. Their prices were competitive with the internet, there only being a £10 differnce between the two which is worth paying since i was giving a warrenty and a free setup on that guitar whenever i want werth more than the differnce. Great store clean tidy, well pressented lots of stock choice in brands and price and if they dont have it they will order. Highly recommend this store for its service, staff and after sales care.

  • 5 Superlative by all accounts

It would be difficult for me to show the appreciation for all the hard work Beverley, Dan, Jay and of course Carole have offered me in my musical life. Always, in all the years I have frequented the Music Inn, have I been received warmly and allowed to browse at my leisure. Then, as soon as - and only as soon as - I ask for help, the staff are more than happy to advise, assist and suggest alternatives. After the exquisite service you receive, one would expect to pay over the odds for the goods, but the prices are so reasonable that the internet struggles to compete. I have even brought in a guitar that I found in a cupboard, and they have diligently set it up for me and made it sound stageworthy with no hassle and no fuss. I have bought guitars, amps, drum heads, sticks and cymbals from the Music Inn, and my band is playing almost nothing but Music Inn stock. The reason? I keep going back. Why would I go anywhere else? No pressure approach, freedom to browse, excellent, friendly service ...I'd have to be mad to go anywhere else. But don't just take my word for it - pay them a visit!

  • 5 Simply the best

This shop is definitely the best music shop I have been to by far. No overpowering pushy sales staff here, just knowledgable friendly people who know exactly what they're talking about. A real family feel about them making my whole experience as a novice guitar player a pleasure. A fantastic range to service the needs of the novice right up to the real professional! All at probably the cheapest prices to rival the net but with the advantages of that personal service to boot! I would recommend that if you need anything to do with music there's no point going anywhere else!

  • 5 Brilliant!

Just went in for a quick look at their drum kits on the off chance of seeing something half decent, and I was completely blown away. The range they had was amazing, and the customer service was absolutely brilliant... I HATE it when they come over, hassle you, then give you the hard sell. Non of that rubbish here - they waited until I asked for some help, and were able to answer everything I asked and more. They were more interested in making sure I picked up something suited to me, not just the most expensive thing in the shop. Not even the usual evil look when I said "I'd be back later on"..... Just picked up my new kit earlier today... bloody brilliant! Highly recommended....

  • 5 10 years of great service and still impressed everytime i go in!

I have brought everything from my first squire strat to my Jackson customshop from here.Great service, great advice and none of the condesending sales talk from this company.A1 customer service and everything is set up great before it is put out on the shop floor. Those online retailers dont even check their instruments out before sending them-these guys do, Would definately recommend this shop and all their services! Check out their massive pedal selection too-well worth the trip just for this!

The music Inn is a big shop, which any musician will tell you is a good thing. The odds of finding the instrument you're going to love are higher when there's more to choose from. I've bought gutars, pedals and amplifiers from here and the service offered has been as good as the instruments themselves. They offer a free setup on new guitars, gaurantees on most things, and they let you change your mind (in extreme circumstances). The best thing about the shop is the staff ( the prices are good, but the staff are great) who are friendly and helpful and don't simply push you towards whatever's priciest. They know what they are talking about, and are completely devoid of the snobby elitism most music shop staff have. If you ask for something unusual (low B acoustic bass strings, mate?) they will order it for you if they don't already have it. And if you're looking for any fiddly little bits like straplocks or drum keys, they have it. The repair service is quick and good, and they remember your name. Perhaps the orders could come through quicker, but that's really down to the suppliers. There's little else to ask for.
