  I am unable to give Castle Estates as low a rating as I would like to - evidently 1/5 is as low as they will allow on here. There are many words I could use to describe my experiences with this company but I shall settle for 'deceitful' and 'incompetent' for the time being. Our tenancy was doomed from day 1 as despite our complaints and resultant 'professional cleaning', the property remained in a state that shocked even Castle's own staff. As time went on, damp and mould ran rampant through the property due to fundamental structural issues - something which was confirmed by their own surveyors, yet no action taken. Every time we rang up, there were more excuses and hollow attempts to temporarily placate us. The manager has failed to ring us back on so many occasions that I am not convinced that they even have an outside line, which makes things particularly difficult as he now personally deals with us, given the shocking service he acknowledges we have received. What makes it worse, is that we left the property more than 6 weeks ago and were assured that we would receive our deposit returned in full. We're STILL waiting, STILL receiving weasel-worded excuses and therefore STILL on the warpath. Angry really doesn't begin to cover it...
