While vacationing in Nottingham, England, my husband and I took a side trip to Beeston. We had lunch at the Bean, a small cafe which serves wonderful light lunches and delicious coffee. The staff were most courteous. A must for travellers. <P></P> <P>

This little gem of a caffe is like a slice of Italy right here in Beeston. The perfectly balanced cappuccino I savoured for breakfast, along with the delicious, freshly baked, chocolate croissant were a delight to the senses. The decor is casual chic, and there was some very tasty world music playing on the stereo. All in all, a sensuous and transporting experience. <P></P> <P>

This place is TERRIBLE. The poor employees are treated extremely poorly by their superior - a woman who, right infront of new customers, was extremely rude. I should have walked out on the spot, however, i gave them the benefit of the doubt and waited for my cafe latte. However, even the coffee itself was terrible, not to mention that because nothing came clean out of the dishwasher, the young man had to wash the mug by hand in order to serve me. I really was disgusted by how this business was run and the quality of the product and would not recommend it to anyone! <P></P> <P>
