• Great mens salon

  Been going to him since he had a salon in city centre years ago and even though his other salons in Arnold and Mapperley are quite out of my way I always make the effort to travel there instead of going elsewhere. Always been great to me and my son has recently had his first haircut too so following the tradition. Could not recommend enough

  We as a family have used both sides of this hairdressers and barbers for 15 years as well.....in fact its been so long they feel like extended family. Very friendly, skilled and imaginative. Great with kids on both sides.

  Ignore the random moaning by Sarah M. I've been a regular with A.J Richards for the past 15 years, in which i've always been very happy. If i, or any other customer has an issue, raise it and it will be resolved. If people don't mention there issues/concerns how can somebody correct it?

  i was a regular customer and the last time i went the hairdresser ruined my hair! She thinned my hair out that much it looked very fine. My hair is fine as it is. I went in March and its now the end of july and my layers are longer one side than the other.It looks odd. I contemplated going back but i decided im not risking it. My hair still looks uneven now. I am very annoyed by this as im still trying to grow the layers down but it seems to be taking forever because of how high she cut my layers up. Although one side is alot longer. My hair would have been a nice length now if she hadnt have got her hands on it!
